Peru commercial port on the west coast of South America.Located in the middle of the country's coast, a suburb of Lima.The sea route is 1350 nautical miles away from Balboa port in the north, 3990 nautical miles away from San Francisco port, 1306 nautical miles away from Valparaiso port in Chile in the south, and 9404 nautical miles away from Shanghai port. The port is on the northwest coast of kayao City, surrounded by two breakwaters.There is Saint Laurent island in the southwest outside the port as a barrier, and there are four small dikes in the middle and south of the port, which extend from the land bank to the northwest.There are two berths on both sides of the jetty, and the water depth is 9.7-10.9 meters;There are four berths along the bank in the south of xiaotudi, with a water depth of 10-10.9 meters.In addition, there are four berths on both sides of the jetty extending from the south breakwater to the northeast, with a water depth of 9.1-10.6 meters;There are also two oil tanker berths in the northwest breakwater, with a water depth of 10.9 meters.With a total of 23 berths, Hong Kong is the most modern port on both sides of South America. Three quarters of Peru's imports and one quarter of its exports pass through this port, with an annual throughput of about 5 million tons.
